Bea & Luis
We love sharing our work with you, so you can see how much love and effort we put in every wedding; we want you to know who our couples are, but above all, we want you to enjoy our weddings – even if it is via Internet – and to recapture the emotion of its most special moments.
Today we are going to cover the wedding of Bea and Luis: a couple who trusted us with the planning of their wedding and had every confidence in us from day one. Clearly, one of the best things of being a wedding planner is that you meet all kinds of wonderful people. No two couples are the same, that is why in Pasión Eventos we care about reflecting each couple’s own unique style in every aspect of the wedding decoration.
Bea and Luis love music, travelling and the sea, so maybe that’s why Mallorca was the perfect place for them to celebrate their big day. The wedding was held at a beautiful manor in the heart of the countryside: the ideal setting for a Mediterranean-inspired wedding. The result? A romantic, elegant wedding with a rustic feel – just what they wanted.
We used a colour palette where green and yellow had a leading role. We were accompanied by the fragrance of daisies, chamomiles, yellow-button chrysanthemums, olive and lemons, which remained throughout the wedding.
The ceremony area was effortlessly styled with baskets, boxes filled with olive branches, paniculata and matching pew ends adorning the bamboo chairs. Yet there was an outstanding element: the tree framing the altar, where we hung glass jars filled with paniculata.
We created chill-out areas for the cocktail hour with light-coloured sofas and peacock wicker chairs, styled with green and yellow cushions and small zinc boxes brimming with flowers. Of this area, we would highlight a small bar with homemade beer, literally, craft beer made in their own house! They named the bar with the names of their dogs: Bimba & Lola.
To decorate the reception tables, we created several centrepieces consisting of vases in different sizes and bottles filled with daisies and camomile. Along the imperial wooden tables, we laid burlap table runners which, with rattan charger plates, green glasses, lemons and olive branches, formed a harmonious set where everything matched.
The placed was full of touches and details reflecting Bea and Luis’ style and personalities. The most special one, with a doubt, the favours they gave to their guests: clown noses. Both are doctors, so by buying those, they were helping Fundación Theodora, whose mission is to provide entertainment for hospitalised children by sending clowns to make them smile.
Live music was another key point, as they both share a joint passion for it. Live piano was played during the ceremony, a quartet played soul and funky music during the cocktail hour, but the icing on the cake came with Luis’ band, who cheered everyone up during the first drinks of the party.
It was an elegant, relaxed wedding where everyone, the newlyweds and all their guests, enjoyed to the full. Seeing them so happy and delighted, in such a peaceful mood, making the most of every minute… was our reward.
A few days later, when they thanked us and praised us for our work, it reminded us, once again, why we are devoted to this job.
I hope you have enjoyed reading this post! All these beautiful photographs were taken by Abraham García, who knew how to capture the festive and pleasant atmosphere of that day.
