Elena & Aitor
One of the most satisfying aspects of being a wedding planner is that the emotions we create last forever in the minds and hearts of our couples, their guests and specially in ours.
Today, I would like to show you the wedding of Elena & Aitor, an unconventional couple who trusted in Pasión Eventos from the very first moment.
The way Elena and Aitor contacted us was rather different. They are both doctors and live in Madrid. In the operating theatre, they heard another doctor talk about how fantastic and original a wedding she had recently attended in Majorca had been (the wedding of Bea & Luis, which we organized last year). Elena said she was completely lost with the organization of the wedding and didn’t know where to start, so she asked for our contact details! And that was how she called us, and we began with the preparations.
They wanted a relaxed party, with no formalisms or posing. All they wanted was a beautiful and wild venue, high-quality food, good music, a careful, attractive and natural decoration and NOT HAVING TO WORRY ABOUT ANYTHING. And that’s exactly what they got. They made things very easy for us, and everything flowed extremely naturally, completely problem and stress free.
As you know, it is essential for us to know the tastes and the story of our couples in order to be able to convey their essence in every detail of the party. We quickly grasped their informal and relaxed style and created a day that was specially tailored for them, and in which the bucolic and rural styles were very present.
We created a Woodland wedding for them, just as they had imagined it. The cities of Game of Thrones were present, and we also had a marvellous forest and Celtic music to enliven the ceremony.
The bride’s style was natural, just like her. She was wearing a beautiful and original dress by Inuñez and a wild bouquet composed of eucalyptus, olive tree branches, carnations, burgundy astilbe, dark pink lisianthus and peach-coloured hypericum.
The wedding was celebrated in a country estate with breath-taking views of the Tramuntana mountain range, surrounded by valleys and forests. To make sure all elements were in harmony, we chose colours such as olive, burgundy, marsala, ochre, aubergine, terracotta and dusty blue.
A wooden arch with a vegetal runner and gauze material was the great witness of a very bucolic ceremony. Baskets with seasonal flowers and plants, distressed chairs with large floral decorations, golden lanterns by the natural sisal carpet and cones of olive leaves to shower the newlyweds created the perfect setting for the wedding of their dreams.
For the aperitif, we created a chillout area, with pallets, straw bales and sack cushions, combined with demijohns full of olive tree branches. Round and square imperial tables, with rustic tablecloths, grey napkins and green Majorcan “llengües” fabric. Bambue chairs, glasses in green, blue, amber and pink tones. The setting was decorated with green-leaf garlands and different sized candles. And we cannot forget the seating plans and table markers with the names of the cities from the TV-series “Game of Thrones”, that provided the setting with a personal touch. Illumination played an essential role in this wedding. We decorated the trees with “tears” candle holders and light garlands that danced in the trees, creating a very special atmosphere. The result was a setting that not only reflected their personality to perfection, but it was also in harmony with the environment and the style of the wedding.
For the dancing, we created a chillout area in Moroccan style, with jute carpets, golden lanterns and bean bags which created contrasts and harmony at the same time. All of this was surrounded by trees sprinkled with magic lights that gave the dancing area a magical touch.
It is wonderful to be able to be part of such moments. Here are the photos by Wedadvisor, so that you too can enjoy that amazing day.
