Mónica Varela and Juan Moreno’s elegant and romantic wedding in Mallorca
Two souls who met at the home of a great friend in common, Gloria Tokatly, in the paradise of Punta Cana, and since then they have not stopped testifying that true love appears at the least expected moment.
Family, art, emotion, color, dedication, and love would perfectly describe this beautiful couple.
The inheritor of an artistic and multicultural legacy, renowned Dominican jewelry designer Mónica Varela and Spanish-born construction businessman Juan Moreno were married on May 20, 2023, in Mallorca.
Mónica Varela, daughter of the famous artist Fernando Varela, has art in her veins. She is a renowned jewelry designer from the Dominican Republic who looks beyond the conventional. Her fascination with colors, materials and evolution influenced the style of her wedding.
They and their 200 guests traveled from all over the world to Mallorca for an experience they will never forget.
Here is the perfect summary of Mónica and Juan’s two wonderful events: pure romance, style, and fun.
Day One: a welcome evening facing the sea
On the first day we celebrated a fancy and relaxed welcome evening at a well-known and elegant beach club in Palma de Mallorca.
Day two: Ceremony, Cocktails & After Party
Religious ceremony at the San Francisco de Palma Church
A traditional and romantic wedding full of color, art, and love
Mónica & Juan’s wedding was a mix of Spanish and Dominican vibes. Tradition and trends came together in this epic party held in one of the most emblematic and exclusive villas on the island.
The reception was held in an old finca with a lot of artwork and history. It was the perfect estate for a family of artists.
Cocktails & Live music
The Cocktail is the perfect occasion to enjoy and relax a bit after the emotion of the ceremony.
Small vases with flowers, matching the other designs, were decorating the bistro and chill-out tables.
A live band entertained the cocktail, while the guests enjoyed tasty appetizers.
Romanticism shone in every way
Dinner was served in an elegant tent under a starry sky.
Two endless imperial tables were decorated with beautiful flowers in shades of green, ecru, orange, red and yellow.
Mónica’s jewelry was present throughout the wedding, very much in the style of the MVBabes.
Glitter, tequila, and art
A saxophonist continued to entertain the guests late into the party.
Projections of Monica’s jewelry flooded the ceiling of the club, giving it a totally unique aesthetic.
They definitely had the best party of their lives!
These unforgettable moments were captured by Paco & Aga y Soul Weddings.
