A wedding with the majorcan essence

She always smiles, & he is a gentleman. After our first meeting I said to myself, “I would love to go for a glass of wine with these two beautiful people”, and I know, when I feel that, it will work. Now I’m here, 9 months later, sharing their story with the world, because some stories are just worth telling.

After the wedding, my brother Miguel Angel said to me, “Everybody adores them”. When people give love, they also receive love, and they have a lot of it for everyone. They live in the moment, they enjoy life, they love to travel, and they certainly do not say no to a lovely dinner.

Even though the previous days we were a little concerned about the weather, they turned out having their GREAT MEDITARRANEAN CELEBRATION, as personalized and well organized as they wanted.

Third time is the charm

There were two failed attempts to propose. The first, in Formentera, which wasn’t successful due to an unexpected storm, “Jose surprised me with a few days on a sailboat in Formentera, and as he was preparing it all a brutal storm hit us so we had to return to the port”.

The second attempt was in Tuscany, but he didn’t have the ring! “We took a trip in Tuscany and the last night he had reserved a special place, but in the hotel, they made us leave the suitcases in the locker and he couldn’t get the ring.”

Finally, Three Kings’ day, was the DAY. “His little nieces received a letter which explained our gift; this year it was nothing materialistic, it was about spending more time together, therefore we gave them a trip to New York, all of us together. The reaction of the girls was incredible; they were very excited, very special. It was such a fabulous start to our day. We then went for lunch with my family and Jose did a beautiful toast to them and to life itself, so full of sentiment, and when he finished, he asked me to marry him 🙂 ”

Our blessed Mediterranean nature

Is there a more beautiful place to get married than in your own home? And if that is in front of the Mediterranean Sea, one couldn’t ask for more…

Helena Alomar chose natural materials for the decorations, among which sisal, wood, wicker and linen stood out. Olive wood baskets, lavender, limonium and statice accompanied the scenario. Our beloved demijohns couldn’t be absent, which simply on their own look stunning.

Green sneakers, red wine cocktail and a little surprise

After the ceremony, our partner and friend Dani de Castro served a very trendy cocktail. Traditional delicatessen such as sobrasada and cheese from Mahón, artichokes with black olive mayonnaise and cherry gazpacho with grilled lobster, were some of the entrees served; they left nobody indifferent.

Natalia’s friends surprised her with hundreds of white balloons which rose into the clouds.

Vermouth, beers and Iberian ham for all

As it should be, the ham was given the importance it deserves. A vermouth stand and a good grill for meat lovers could not be absent.

Eucalyptus, lavender & mint colored glasses

Under a Bedouin tent, the guests enjoyed a most delicious meal. Round and long tables, stone colored table linens, bamboo chairs and mint colored glasses.

Live music, a lot of dancing and some Jägermeister

The photos are proof that they really didn’t enjoy themselves that much…

Thousands of smiles, hugs, kisses, laughs, and dancing, good food, drinks, good music and A LOT OF LOVE, had the spotlight on this great day that celebrated the union of these two beautiful and special beings.
